This listing is for a Remanufactured Chrysler A518, 46RE, 47RE Electronic Valve Body, model years 1996-1999, with an Early Sensor and Large Pump Inlet, modified with our Heavy Duty Towing Package. These valve bodies are updated and re-enforced to maintain proper line pressure, prevent: burnt clutches, soft shifts, engine stall, TCC slip, overheating of the converter, loss of power and fuel economy and provide more positive shifts. Perfect for the higher pressures of high horsepower applications and heavy load towing.
There are 4 versions of this valve body: Early Sensor with a Small Pump Inlet, Early Sensor with a Large Pump Inlet, Late Sensor with a Small Pump Inlet and Late Sensor with a Large Pump Inlet. This Valve Body does not include the Rooster Comb, so please re-use the original. Please see the photos and illustrations below in our Technical Information section for useful identification information and useful tips.
